Our philosophy has been to do RS Gold right thing for the long-term health of the game. This is something that many veteran players know. I have done this repeatedly over the years, regardless of initial discomfort. The bot nuke was an excellent illustration. I am certain that we've been recognized for our actions in the long-term. The reality is that the game continues to improve year after year and the community we have built is constantly growing.
We're still extremely grateful for all the feedback we get about our updates and the engagement of the community in it. We have been reading your posts in the forums and listened to your suggestions. Your feedback has inspired us to make some adjustments in Squeal of Fortune's system. We have added different ways of earning additional spins in-game and introduced additional security for all in-game purchases once we received notification of issues.
Naturally the team and I are saddened that some players are upset over free spins, and some also dislike the option to buy additional spins. However the truth is that the majority of our players are enjoying the Squeal of Fortune on a every day basis. More than 70 percent of our players who are free use the Squeal of Fortune daily too - making it some of the most adored content release to this point. It's a feature that players are still using because they love the numerous ways to get extra spins.
The system's design means that players cannot be concerned about RWT'ing, gambling or making use of the Squeal of Fortune for their own financial profit. While we have witnessed a lot of players benefit from the new rewards and many choosing to purchase extra spins, we have not seen any illegal activity with the system, despite watching it extremely carefully.
Looking ahead, RuneScape continues to grow more than ever, both in terms of innovative engaging content and the scale of the player base. With the launch of The Runespan last Monday, an important performance improvement in graphics was made yesterday (which already saw a significant part of the community benefit from over a 100% improvement in game frame rate) It is evident that we are just gearing up for our most exciting and largest content year ever... with a complete upgrade to combat later in the summer!
You'll naturally all learn more about this in the near future so watch this space. Thanks for reading... Have fun.

Do not be late in uploading a photo of your weekly resource contributions. Build tick: 10 AM GMT Tuesday. Poll. You can change the day on which the build tick happens on (instead Tuesdays). I was thinking that should we alter the build tick at any point, right after tier 7 would be an ideal time to do so. Here's what I think:
A weekend build tick could be a nice option for some, so people who cap at the last minute have a Friday/Saturday to make it happen (generally less occupied with school or work) as well as those who prefer to cap the early have the same opening. Those who are somewhere in the middle (like myself) can do it whenever they want. To move the tick, this is what it will mean:
When you move it, you pay a weeks worth of upkeep however no improvements are built. The tick will resume normal operation the following day, and will be updated with the new date.
Since this is a major decision that will impact all of us, we should all be involved. I put up a series of poll questions to see the general feeling about it, and from there devise a course of action with the staff/community/people.
What are the purposes of these resources? As usual, upkeep for all of our stuff. Tier 7!!! This week, Tier 7, no issue. Recent Updates. Not this week. All funds go towards upkeep and Tier 7.
Cosmetic Enhancements. Now that we are at tier 7, we can begin working on these. We are currently working on three objectives. To ensure that our resources are able to fall in the right direction, I have a plan to put up decorative items as we achieve the objectives. The grand hedge is expensive however it will look stunning. It'll be located in the North-West close to the mine and the kiln. We are also working on shields to hang on the second level of the keep near the party area. Additionally, we are attempting to upgrade the benches in the party room to become a supflow item.
It's not as hard as it used to seem. I am aware of this because skillscapes can assist you in achieving 99 in a particular skill. Before you start getting all excited about the amount of time it takes to complete, I'd like to inform you. Since late 2004, I have been playing Scape. As a free player I hit 99 cooking by the end of 2007. This was a massive thing for me back in the day, when we didnt have skill capes, which was a major thing for me. It was hard work and required a lot of grinding. Since then, I've been given two 99s.
But I don't want you to discuss. Do you think it is worth the cape or just for the personal fame? Perhaps simply for the satisfaction and glory of 99.
I remember getting untrimmed grinding granite ores for an extended period of time. I did feel very proud about wearing my untrimmed cape with pride; back then skillcapes were the deal. E.g. Someone with similar features to an RC cape in the past were idolized.
The capes have become well-known since the release of the milestone capes and caps to achieve. Caps for skills are only worn while performing. Certain skills require higher caps (ardougne cape ZMI/thieving) and some are accused of wearing them when they are killing.
Are you opposed to players with auras that give them an advantage unfairly in risky PvP? According to my understanding the combat auras are all able to be utilized in dangerous PvP, excluding those that are specifically prohibited from being utilized in PvP (sharpshooter/knockout, runic accuracy and friend in needs).
